Enge is a Chrome extension that allows you to easily switch and manage multiple Instagram accounts without a need to log in and log out all the time.

When you use Enge you’ll inevitably share some information with us.

We understand this can affect your privacy so we’ll be upfront about what we collect, how we use it and the choices we give you to control, access and update your information.

Information We Automatically Receive

We receive your Instagram username and data from Google Analytics.

When you use Enge, WE WILL NEVER collect information like your password. We simply do not have access to it.



We switch your accounts by saving Instagram cookies in your browser, where only you have access to it.



Here’s a fuller explanation of the types of information we collect when you use Enge:

    We need to get your username in order to save cookies for it. This information is stored in your browser only.
  • ▪ Location Information
    ▪ When you use our services we may collect information about your location via Google Analytics.
  • ▪ Log Information
    ▪ We collect log file information when you use our services. That information includes, among other things:
    ▪ details about how you’ve used our website
    ▪ access times
    ▪ page viewed

What do we do with the information we collect? The short answer is: Provide you with an amazing product that we relentlessly improve! But we do a lot more as well, such as:

We may also reference your Name, Logo and Instagram username as a user of Enge.

Enge retains your data only for as long as is necessary, or long enough required to comply with any legal obligations or agreements, and resolving issues. Enge may also analyse your usage data over short periods of time for internal purposes.

Security Breaches – Sharing Accounts

Enge is not responsible for any security breaches if you are sharing accounts with team members.

If a user chooses to share their login details with another Enge user, that is their decision to do so and Enge will not be liable for any damage caused.

For example, one user who deletes all of the work, a user revoking access to Enge to other users, or changes passwords and locks out other users.

E-mails and Mailing Lists

We do not store any emails.

Cookies

This extension uses cookies to help process information, which is small pieces of data that are sent and saved to your computer’s hard drive when visiting sites.

Cookies types are generally “persistent” (have a set expiration date) or “session” (deleted when you close the web page) and we may use both.

These can be disabled through your web browser however do impact the use of our site.

Enge also uses analytics services such as Google Analytics, which gather information about websites.

Our site contains links to other websites and Enge is not responsible for their individual privacy policies, so we recommend you review their respective privacy statements.

Children

We don’t direct our Services to anyone under 13. And that’s why we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

Enge may, in its sole discretion, modify or update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and so you should review this page periodically. If we change our policy for any reason, we will update the ‘Last modified’ date at the bottom of this page.
